Meet The PhotoVoice Team

Born and living in the USA, Kelly is a higher education and nonprofit professional and a seasoned workshop facilitator in the social justice arena. Kelly is passionate about helping marginalized communities find their voice and speak truth to power in creative ways. She has facilitated Theater of the Oppressed, taught zine production and is now excited to teach the powerful process of Photovoice to groups in the U.S. and Canada. Kelly is also a ReportOUT Trustee with a Portfolio for North America.

Hello Queer Siblings, my name is Prince Frimpong, a genderqueer Ghanaian living in Accra, Ghana. I am a PhotoVoice representative at ReportOut and volunteer with the communications team. I am very thrilled to travel wherever you are to be your PhotoVoice trainer. Book me now and let me guide you to tell your own stories of change. 

Taha Laroussi is a human rights researcher with a report out from Morocco. He holds a bachelor's degree in sociology and is an experienced researcher with a strong background in conducting research on oral history, Queer cultures, encrypted languages, SOGIESC legal research, SRHR, and Archives, focusing on Morocco, the MENA region, and globally.

Taha serves as your Photo Voice representative for the MENA region and is available for travel both regionally and internationally.

My name is Thushara, part of the Media and Communications team here at ReportOUT. I am honoured to also be part of the PhotoVoice training team, and am based in Newcastle Upon Tyne in the UK. Having been with the organisation since 2019 as an ally, I am very passionate about ensuring that the voices of LGBTQI+ communities are heard and acknowledged. I look forward to collaborating with you to ensure that we collectively work towards a proactive and positive change within your local community.

I am Chukwuebuka (Vincent) from Nigeria currently exploring PhD pathways in the United Kingdom. I am a Human Rights Researcher with ReportOUT, with particular interest in the application of intersectionality to unpack the intricate layers of discrimination against sexual and gender minorities. I am trained in innovative research methods like photovoice and community reporting, which goes beyond the periphery analysis into identifying issues through the voice of the victims and crafting impactful solutions.  I am willing to provide training for organisations keen on the use of the photovoice method to enhance their impact in the field of human rights.
