Über die Veranstaltung
We have opened up the final hour of our two-day #SaferToBeMe conference to the public who have not bought a ticket for the conference.
This is your opportunity to see six of the 12x12ft squares of the U.K. AIDS Memorial Quilt and to take part in a candlelit vigil to remember the lives of those we have lost, and continue to lose, due to decisions made by world leaders to scale back funding for LGBTQ+ causes.
The U.K. AIDS Memorial Quilt is part of the largest community arts project in history. The Quilt helps us remember and celebrate all lives lost to HIV from the beginning of the pandemic in the 1980s to the present day.
We recommend you arrive at the building reception a little ahead, around 3:45pm on the day, and we anticipate you will be let into the Main Hall at 4pm subject to proceedings running on time.
