Containing brief summaries of each nation state, it will outline

what life is like in each country covering some of the following topics:

  • queer histories of the nation state;

  • the legal situation;

  • social attitudes toward sexual and gender minorities;

  • the role of cultural and societal institutions;

  • the role of religious institutions;

  • the role of political institutions;

  • dangers faced by sexual and gender minorities;

  • the existence of organisations and activism;

  • recent milestones for sexual and gender minorities and their communities.
